Architectural Program and Design

-Made updates to the designed architectural plan such as: adding basement, searching minimum room size requirements

-Sent detailed square footage to be used in Energy Use calculations for the Building Envelope Lead

​

-Created architectural program that elaborates on room functions

​

-Design site layout and collected pictures of physical site location

Building Envelope and Air Tightness

-Designed door with air vents using Fusion 360

​

-Implemented Centura Steel Shingle (Metal Stamped) design into roof design

​

-Designed roof design sections using Fusion 360. Includes overhang for porch on east side and solar panel placement on east and west side of building

​

-Researched stud framing and ways to implement effective stable, strong, and efficient stud framing into the building

​

Calculated Projected Total Energy Use and researched more into geothermal heat pumps

Solar Panel and Water Storage Design

-Conducted research into the water harvesting system and the cycle the machine goes through to produce water

​

-Studied filtration types to be integrated within water harvesting systems

Internal Loads and Energy Modeling

-Visited physical site and took pictures of site layout to aid in creating site plan

​

-Created spreadsheet on Heating Degree Days in Horsham Township (suburbs)

​

-Started creating the 3D model of the site plan using Sweet Home 3D
