Weekly Progress Report

Architectural Program and Design

-Worked with Building Envelope Lead to design and integrate window specifications within architectural layout

Building Envelope and Air Tightness

-Worked with both Architectural and Internal Loads lead to design exterior wall assemblies of building to help with rendering of final design

​

-Did more research into advanced framing systems and decided to go with wooden stud framing

​

-Researched the components that go into wall assembly and recognized the functions of each component in wall assembly

​

-Worked to design a 3D rendering of roof sections and integrate transparent solar panel within roofing

Solar Panel and Water Storage Design

-Conducted in depth research into wet system rainwater harvesting and started planning ideas for integration

Internal Loads and Energy Modeling

-Assisted Architectural Lead in creating site plan and a projected rendering of residential building and site layout 

​

-Worked with Building Envelope Lead to design roof sections that will help with solar panel integration to maximize energy output.

​

- Did more research on the basics of site plan to make everything fit together properly
